Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I book?
    You can complete our enquiry form and we will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm availability. You will then be sent a booking form to complete with the full details of your party.   • What themes do you offer?
    Unlike most sleepover companies we don't have set themes which means we can tailor the setup to meet the specific requirements of our customers. All our tents are different meaning our parties are always different as well. As we don't do set themes we ask our customers to let us know what colours and styles their children like so that we can tailor the setup accordingly. This means your child gets a party created  with them in mind rather than the same setup as everyone else. Although we don't do themes we do however offer some seasonal setups, including Christmas and Halloween packages.
  • Where do you deliver to?
    We deliver and setup for free within 10 miles of Altrincham and Warrington. Locations outside of this can often be accommodated but will incur a small delivery charge.
  • What size are the tents?
    Our individual tents are 160cm long and 80cm wide and our double teepee tents are 200cm long and 160cm wide with a height of 220cm. Please ensure you have sufficient room to accommodate the number and style of tents you require and have cleared the space before we arrive. If you are worried about having enough room for the number of tents you require please let us know the size of the space and we can work out a layout that fits. If necessary we can always arrange a site visit before the booking to be sure the tents will fit.
  • How long does setup take?
    This is dependent on the number of tents and whereabouts in your house you would like them setting up but it usually takes between 30 - 90 minutes to set the tents up.
  • How do I pay?
    We take a £30 deposit to secure a booking and the balance can then be paid by bank transfer the week before the party or as cash on the day. You will be sent an invoice on the Monday before your party confirming your balance and including details of how to make payment.
  • Can I set up the tents myself?
    Yes, we are continuing to offer a drop off service for customers who would prefer to set up the tents themselves. We take £10 off the total price of the booking for this option.
  • Can I book for more than 1 night?
    Yes, should you wish to hire the tents for multiple nights that's fine. Additional nights are charged at 50% of the standard rate. 
  • What time do you set up?
    Set up will usually be between 10am and 4pm on the day of your party. We will confirm exact timings when we send out your invoice. Occasionally we may need to set up the day before but we will always discuss this with you beforehand. If there is a particular time that you require your party to be set up or collected please let us know at least a week before the date of your party so that we can do our best to accommodate you.
  • What are the minimum and maximum ages for your tents?
    Our tents are not suitable for children under the age of 3. The upper age limit is dictated by the height of the children - our standard foam mattresses are 160cm (approx. 5'2") long so can usually comfortably sleep children up to the age of 12 but we have done parties for children up to age 14. Please contact us to discuss if you are looking to book for older children as we do have a small number of full length single mattresses but these are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
  • What do our guests need to bring with them?
    For standard packages your guests will need to bring their pillow and pyjamas or a onesie to sleep in (unless you've added PJs to your package). For deluxe packages pillows are included.
  • What extras do you offer?
    You can see details of what we currently offer on our Extras page. We work with a number of independent, local businesses to offer a comprehensive range of extras to complete your sleepover package with prices starting at just £2.50pp. We can provide sweet treats and activities to keep your guests happy, personalised party favours for them to take home or show stopping balloons for added wow factor. Our party planners will work with you to tailor your package to suit your taste and budget.
  • How do I order extras?
    You can see details of the extras we offer on our Extras page. Our booking form gives you the option to select which extras you would like and once we've received your completed form we will then discuss personalisation, colour options etc. with you.
  • What seasonal setups do you offer?
    Although we don’t offer set themes we do tailor our packages for some seasonal celebrations. The main ones being Christmas and Halloween. Our Christmas packages offer sleepovers with a festive twist based on a winter wonderland. They include lots of white, silver and gold with Nordic style decorations using natural materials. Our Halloween packages offer sleepovers with a Halloween twist using either traditional Halloween colours including black, orange, gold or a pretty Halloween palette with pink, black and silver. We will create something beautiful that says Halloween without being garish or scary.
  • What's the maximum number of tents I can book?
    As the biggest sleepover company in the North West we can provide up to 60 teepee tents at a time. So whether you're organising a cosy best friend sleepover for two or a large group event we are here to help. 
  • Can I use the tents outdoors?
    Sadly our tents can't be used outdoors as our beautiful fabrics are not waterproof. We bring the magic of camping outdoors into the safety and warmth of your home and that is what makes our sleepover experiences so wonderful. During the summer months our luxe picnics can be set up outdoors, providing the weather is fine.
  • Do I need to provide a power supply?
    No power supply is needed, all our lights are battery or solar powered. ​
  • What happens if I've booked a picnic and it's raining?
    Our picnic setups are available to hire outdoors during the summer months but please note they are only suitable for use outdoors in fine weather. If it is raining you will need to provide an alternative indoor space.
  • What are your cleaning procedures?
    We have strict cleaning and handling procedures in place and a copy of our full procedures is available on request. All bedding is washed and dried separately using gentle, non-bio products and any items that cannot be washed are thoroughly cleaned with a steam cleaner and/or Dettol anti-bacterial cleaning products.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    We understand that things change and will be happy to refund your deposit as long as the booking is cancelled at least 7 days before your sleepover.
  • Are you insured?
    Yes, we have appropriate business insurance, including £1m public liability.
